Planning to travel to a place where you don't know the language or culture is extremely hard on your own. Choosing to travel with SilkRoad Moments mads everything so much easier, since these people live here, speak the language and know the people.
My experience was fantastic. Having people to guide me around and teach about this country has been amazing, and I can't imagine the mess it would have been if I tried to do it on my own.
I loved it. Having someone who knows the ins and outs of these places made life so much easier, since we didn't have to struggle of finding good places to go to or struggle with the language barrier. My guide was very kind and extremely personable.
I enjoyed going to a community music/dance performance in Kemaliye. It was awesome to see how close their community is and to be welcomed into it as a friend.
I can't really think of anything to improve on. The service was fantastic.

Trying to plan travel in a country I've never been in, in a language that I don't speak feels so impossible. Planning to visit huge well known places is ok, but trying to tie in the details is neat impossible. Simple things such travel time and ordering food is a giant mess without help.
SilkRoad Moments is made up of people who love the people of Turkey and want others to experience all that this country has to offer. It's not just a money grab, or a company where the people hate what they're doing. They genuinely want you to see the best, and fall in love with the places and people you meet.
As a student, SilkRoad Moments was a good fit because they gave the perfect balance of historic sights and fun thrills. There was never a dull moment, and they always made sure that the activities were fun for everyone.
The care that they have for their work is phenomenal. They truly enjoy what they do, and give you a heart for Turkey, it's amazing.
