Cappadocia

Cappadocia is known for its geological rock formations that are referred to by the locals as "Fairy Chimneys". These interesting chimneys were created by the erosion of soft volcanic ash that surrounded the rocks. The topography of this land has historically been utilized as shelter, and as such is now comprised of unforgettable caverns, dwellings, castles, and churches cut from the rocks.
